Take the Falmouth exit (exit 7) off Hwy 101 and turn right at the stop sign onto Hwy 1. Turn left onto the Falmouth Back Road at the fork in front of Pothier Motors. Follow this for 3 km to the Club, being careful to swing left and downhill where it crosses Town Road. You'll see the grounds at the bottom of the hill, then the Clubhouse and driveway a bit farther along. In total, we're about 45 minutes or less from Metro.
Avon Valley Golf and Country Club was established in 1971 as a replacement for the former Windsor nine hole course near Fort Edward. Play started in 1973 with a nine-hole layout although 12 holes had by then been completed. It has since grown to a challenging and very well groomed 18 hole course. Hilly terrain, fast and subtle greens and the occasional variable breezes always call for strategy to score well. Many recent tweaks and major improvements (including a new Clubhouse in 2007) enhance the challenge and enjoyment of an already beautiful course. Avon Valley is noted for friendly staff and friendly members who make visitors feel welcome. We usually operate from about mid- April until late October- early November, depending on weather conditions. Click here for information, and continue browsing the website for even more!
