November 12- Course now closed for the season

Avon Valley is now closed for 2014. The Board of Directors, management and staff thank all members & visitors for their support over the season and look forward to seeing and serving you again next April.

The 2015 membership renewal/ application forms will be available on the website and in the November online-only Avon Go Round, to be posted on the website later this month. It will also contain the review of improvements over 2014, information to Shareholders on matters relating to the 2015 Annual General Meeting and other items of interest.

Check the Tournaments page for the results of last Sunday's
Iron Person tournament- the last of the year!

And don't forget to check us out periodically on Facebook and Twitter to see what's up!

Hours/ procedures effective Nov 3

Effective November 3, Pro Shop hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM seven days a week. Bookings are no longer being taken and all play is "first come- first served" under the direction of the Pro Shop. Expect possible delays or playing restrictions during wet conditions, frost delays or grounds maintenance. Members may be able to start earlier during clearly playable conditions but if so, be sure to check in "at the turn."

For the rest of the 2014 season green-fee players can note any special rates listed in the Pro Shop Notices section to the right and call the Pro Shop at 902-798-2673 to see if there's a possibility of playing: we'll get you out if we can!

We have a well-maintained fleet of power cars for hire at reasonable rates. Please note, however, that althouh we have recently added more paved paths, power cart use may be completely or partially restricted (e.g. 90- degree rule) when the grounds are wet- so if planning on renting a power cart after rainfall, call the Pro Shop to confirm conditions.
