The Pro Shop hours are now 6:00 AM until dark daily. We accept bookings for as early as 7:00 AM daily, and effective Saturday May 19 this will be moved up to 6:30 AM daily: note that as it's still "early days" in the season, actual start times may have to be delayed without advance notice in the event of frost.
Bookings can be made by calling 902-798-2673, by e-mailing AVGCProShop@eastlink.ca or by visting the Pro Shop. See the "Hours of Operation" post below for more info.
Green-fee players are always welcome- check the Green Fees page for our discounted Monday-Tuesday afternoon rates and our five- and ten-pack discount deals!
Check the Tournaments page for info on the May 26-27 Men's Spring Tune-up (entry deadline May 20) and also for the announcement on the 2012 Ladies Night season.
And if you haven't noticed- the Clubhouse has been newly re-decorated for 2012 and now offers free wi-fi: bring your gadgets and enjoy a snack, beverage, the surroundings and your friends while you catch up!
Hours of operation/ booking procedures/ power cars
Pro Shop hours are currently from 6:00 AM until dark every day until further notice. Times can now be booked for as early as 7:00 AM daily, noting the possiblity of weather or maintenance delays. If you start earlier than opening, be sure to check in "at the turn."
Green-fee players- note any special rates listed in the Pro Shop Notices section to the right or if none are shown, check the Green Fees page- then call the Pro Shop at 902-798-2673 to book a time. Non-members can call three days in advance of the desired day, for example any time on Wednesdays to reserve Saturday times, and anytime Thursdays for Sunday times, using the same formula to reserve for other days. Please note that non-members must submit credit card information to confirm booking times- refundable only if the booking is cancelled at least 24 hrs before the booked time (except if due to unforeseen weather events).
Use of the Club's power cars may be completely or partially restricted after heavy rain: if planning on renting a power car, please call the Pro Shop at the number above to confirm the situation.
A note re the March 18 Annual General Meeting
Thanks to all Shareholders who attended the 41st Annual General Meeting on March 18. We had a quorum and all matters put before participants by the outgoing Board were ratified as tabled- including election of the slate of new Board members, whose offices/ portfolios will be posted on the Contact us page once finalized.
