Kendall Keeley – General Manager

Avon Valley Golf & Country Club’s daily operations are managed by General Manager, Kendall Keeley. Kendall started this role in March of 2019 having previously spent time working at Fox Harb’r Resort, Silver Springs Golf & Country Club (Calgary), and most recently The Links at Brunello.

Originally born and raised in Bridgewater, N.S.. Kendall became a member of the PGA of Canada in 2018. He is a graduate of Lethbridge College where he completed the Professional Golf Management program. Kendall is continuing his education through the PGA of Canada concentrating on areas that relate to business in golf and club management.

In his younger years you could often find him playing 36 holes a day at the local courses in Bridgewater, or in the winter at the curling club working on his draw weight. Through his junior golf years Kendall placed 1st at many local club events and was the winner of the Jerry Byers Invitational on three occasions. In 2005 Kendall represented Nova Scotia at the Junior National Curling Championship and placed 3rd in the country.

Having worked at private properties, member courses, and a public facility Kendall brings a wide array of knowledge to Avon Valley and is ready to lend a hand where needed. Having spent time being mentored by local industry leaders, Jerry Byers, Elliott Isenor and Miles Mortensen you can tell Kendall has taken things from each of those individuals and has incorporated them in to his daily management skills.

Kendall brings a passion to Avon Valley that will help grow the game of golf through the junior program and is excited for the opportunity to try some new forward thinking ideas to add to the social atmosphere at the club. He honestly believes the success of the club lies within the member and guest satisfaction, feeling that an environment needs to be established that golfers want to gravitate towards.

Kendall and his wife Jen reside in Middle Sackville with their two dogs Gunner and Pax. They enjoy spending time together in the woods walking their dogs or on the golf course enjoying a round at Avon Valley.
